Every new client begins with a 60-minute in-home assessment. Following the assessment, I recommend the training route, session length and frequency appropriate to the dog, household and objectives. Clients may book individual follow-up sessions or purchase a discounted four-session training block.
An assessment session focusing on your dog's routines, handling, environment, and training priorities. This includes initial practical guidance, a concise written summary, and tailored dog training plans for effective one-to-one training.
Thirty- and forty-minute assessment sessions are offered only where appropriate for our dog training plans, following careful evaluation. They may not be suitable for every dog, objective, or travel location when considering one-to-one training.
For one defined training objective, the assessment session may include brief handling practice, focused trainer work, or a short follow-up as part of our dog training plans, emphasizing one-to-one training.
For routine practical training, owner coaching, and progression within an established dog training plan, assessment sessions and one-to-one training can greatly enhance the experience.
For broader training work, including multiple objectives and environmental practice, we offer detailed one-to-one training sessions. Additionally, our assessment sessions help in developing personalized dog training plans that cater to your specific needs.
Four-session blocks may be paid in full before the first session or in two stages. Under the staged payment option, the first payment covers the assessment session and sessions one and two at the normal individual-session rate. The second payment is due before session three and applies the block discount across the completed four-session dog training plans. Clients who choose to stop after session two owe no further payment, but no package discount applies to the first two sessions of the one-to-one training.
