About Robin, CCDT
I am Robin Stenhouse, CCDT, a Certified Dog Trainer through CATCH Canine Trainers Academy. I provide one-to-one dog training in Bayonne and selected areas of South Jersey City.
My work focuses on practical behaviour in the environments where owners need it most: the home, doorway, hallway, lift, pavement and everyday walk. Training is structured around the individual dog, the owner’s handling and routines that can be maintained between sessions.
Before becoming a professional dog trainer, I spent more than 30 years working in operational safety, emergency response, security and risk management. That background informs a structured approach to assessment, environmental risk, safe decision-making and clear communication.
Training uses rewards, environmental management, clear routines and progressive practice. It is not based on fear, pain or intimidation.
