How Training Is Delivered
Sessions may combine direct work with the dog and owner coaching, emphasizing assessment-led dog training. The trainer demonstrates and develops skills, then transfers this knowledge to the owner so the behavior can be maintained outside the session. The balance between trainer work and owner participation is determined during assessment.
For cases involving significant bite histories, severe aggression, serious resource guarding, complex separation distress, or behaviors that may have a medical cause, individual review is required. Lead & Leash may suggest a veterinary assessment, additional safety controls, a different service format, or referral.
